How the tower works

stackoverflo.lol is one shared canvas: 40 squares wide, unlimited height. You design a connected block, brand it, choose a structurally valid position, pay for the squares you occupy, and it stays there. Permanently.

The seven steps

  1. Design — toggle squares into any connected shape. At least 4 squares, at most 100, inside a 10×10 box.
  2. Brand — background colour, logo, product name, description, category, link.
  3. Price — calculated from the global number of squares already sold.
  4. Place — pick any position the structural rules allow.
  5. Reserve — your coordinates and your total are locked for 10 minutes.
  6. Pay — checkout via Razorpay; the server verifies the payment before anything is written.
  7. Done — your block drops in, gets a permanent link, and the tower updates for everyone watching.

Pricing

Price depends on one number only: how many squares have been sold across the whole tower. Not height, not position, not shape. Early squares are cheap and stay cheap for whoever got there first.

Global squares soldPrice per square

A purchase that crosses a boundary is split across tiers. Buying 20 squares when 995 are sold costs 5 × $1 plus 15 × $3 = $50, not $20.

Your total locks the moment you reserve a position, and cannot change afterwards even if someone else buys first and pushes the tier up.

Placement rules

Four rules keep the tower structurally honest. All of them are enforced on the server.

No overlap

Two blocks can never share a coordinate. Once squares are sold they are gone.

No floating

Your block must rest on the ground or directly on top of an existing block. At least one of your squares needs an occupied square immediately beneath it. Touching sideways is not enough.

Connected shape

Every square in your block must join the others edge-to-edge. Diagonal corners do not count, and islands are rejected.

No trapped cavities

A placement cannot seal off an empty pocket that nothing could ever reach from the outside. Open, irregular gaps are fine — sealed ones are not, because they would be squares nobody could ever buy.

Permanence

No-refund policy

Purchases are non-refundable. You are buying a permanent position on a shared canvas; once the coordinates are yours they are removed from circulation for everyone else, so they cannot be returned to inventory.

Content policy

Blocks go live immediately after payment is verified. There is no queue. There is also no immunity: we may hide any block that breaks these rules, with no refund, at any time.

A hidden block's squares stay retired rather than being resold — reselling them would break the permanence promise its neighbours paid for.

Terms

Privacy

Public: product name, description, category, X handle, link, square count, amount paid, purchase date, view and click counts, placement coordinates.

Private: your email address, your management token, payment identifiers, and any security or abuse-prevention data.

No account is required to buy. Your email exists so we can send a receipt and a private management link, and so we can verify you if you ever need support. It is never shown on the tower.

Frequently asked

Can I buy more than one block?

Yes — as many as you like. Each placement gets its own permanent URL, even if the product details are identical.

What happens if I abandon checkout?

Your reservation expires after 10 minutes and the coordinates go back to everyone else. Nothing is charged.

Can I edit my block later?

Not in this version. Keep the private management link from your receipt — it is how editing will be unlocked when it ships.

Does it work on a phone?

Browsing, searching and sharing do. Designing a shape and placing it precisely is built for a mouse and a large screen.
